Practice Areas

Masculinity

Masculinity is the life force that drives men forward, and being able to recognize who you are and what your purpose is as a man is an important first step to seeking the life you want.

Marriage & Intimate Relationships

The health of our intimate relationships and connections is a major factor in our overall wellbeing and contentment. We spend a lot of time examining and exploring how you show up in relationship and how to be a powerful partner.

Fatherhood

Nothing is likely to challenge you like the marvellous responsibility of being a dad. Developing the tools and skills to maximize your potency as a father is essential.

Sexual Integrity & Alignment

Porn, compulsive behaviors, and silent shame around sex are some of the most common—and least talked about—struggles men carry. I work with men to understand the deeper emotional needs driving these habits and to build a new, meaningful relationship with your sexuality. This isn’t about judgment or repression—it’s about truth, exploration, integration, and integrity.

Connection & Attachment

Underneath most struggles men bring to therapy is a hunger for real connection. Whether it’s disconnection with others, difficulty making close male friends, or a deep sense of isolation, I help men explore what it means to belong—first to themselves, then to others. This work often includes grieving, revising old roles, and building the courage to be seen.

Assertiveness & Boundaries

Many men grow up believing they need to be easygoing, agreeable, and selfless to be accepted—but that often leads to resentment, burnout, and a loss of identity. I help men break free from people-pleasing patterns and step into a more grounded, honest way of living. This work is about knowing what you want, learning to say what you mean, and staying true to yourself without guilt or apology.

How We Work

Work Process

01

Reconnaissance

We will start off by making sure we’re a good fit for each other. Let’s not pretend that people always click right away. We spend some time connecting, building trust, and collaboratively defining what your objectives will be.

02

Work the Issues

This is the “heavy lifting” phase. We work. We’ll develop a plan together, which will outline our approach, designed to better understand your challenges and introduce tactics to help change the way you see the world, and challenge you to go places you’ve likely never gone before.

03

Graduate

I look forward to the day when you say to me, “I think I’m good,” and we can go our separate ways. Yup. We do the work so you can move into the world without the direct support I can provide you with.

Have Questions?

Frequently Asked
Questions

Where do I start?

We always start with an exploration call so that you and I can determine if we’re a good fit. These are free and can be booked though the website.

How long does therapy take?

This is a common question with no defined answer. This is a continuous journey. Some people come for a handful of sessions and then want to put the work into practice, while others take longer and value a longer-term arrangement. We will discuss this in our exploration call.

How often will I need to go?

Initially, the preference is for us to meet weekly. In time, there may be an opportunity to move to bi-weekly or eventually to be seen on an “as needed” basis. Plan for weekly in the beginning.

Can I do therapy online or in person?

We have the availability to do either. Both have been shown to be effective approaches.

What if we’re not a good fit?

The truth is, this can happen. I encourage everyone to meet with a few therapists before committing so that you can get a sense of your options and find someone with whom you feel comfortable.

Will you just listen, or will you give me advice/tools?

I think good therapy is a mix of both. While I’ll not tell you what to do, my approach is a blend of offering you a place to talk and to also arm you with knowledge and tools to help you navigate life effectively.
